Up In The Mountains

After he was infected with the vampiric virus which turned him into a Dhampire, Thorn spent a whole winter up in the mountains. He lived in an abandoned bears cave and enjoyed being lonely because like this he was able to make peace with his new kind of existence. He did a lot of training, learned new ways of meditation to keep the dark inside of him under control. Also he read a lot of books about vampirism and the undead in general, so he could learn about his new abilities and all the things that would now matter to him.
